when I do this
File -> Import -> Text file
it will only allow me to import a .txt file no selection for .csv file in
the drop down

but I typed in the .csv file and it accepted and it imported the data, this
was a very small table I was working with only four columns I will now try
with a much larger table

Thanks

Robert Mann

Yes in Valentina Studio
Actually even in REV API

File -> Import -> Text file

Here you can set field and line delimiters if needed.
