So when you read back data from your text files, this goes into more places
then Valentina? Otherwise I see now reason for you to feel forced to stay
with you old way. A Backup doesn't really have to be backward compatible
with previous ones as it's supposed to be used in case of failure and to
restore a previous state of datas. Users just have to take a fresh backup
really, which is a good thing to force :-)

Well that's how I look at it.
