Centurybound

I created a Db in Vstudio with various tables having among others  
date fields.

When I inserted into the table using the v4rb date.shortdate format  
of '20/12/06' the field is written as 20/12/0006. Now I immediately  
thought that I of  centurybound. I paused execution in the ide and  
looked at this property in the DB and found it set to 20 (the default  
I believe.)

I did the same exercise using vstudio sql editor and got the same  
result.

Is there any known bug in this area??
