To elaborate - upon downloading and installing, I am copying the Xtra from the c:\program files\macromedia\V4MD_2 directory to the Director MX 2004 Xtras directory. The Xtra does run, but in the aforementioned sample the following line breaks:

person.createLongField("fld_long")

I've tried a number of different field creation methods, and they all result in the same error.
