Does anybody know how to SEND AN EMAIL FROM A PROJECTOR?

I need to send the values of text fields which have been filled out by a user in a projector. Is it possible to use javascript to send the values collected from the fields in the projector to a pre-prepared html form on a web page, and then use formmail.pl to send the values to an email address?

Can outline how to send the values to the html form or point me to a tutorial somewhere?
