mac projector from a pc

Hans,,

Whoa!

Thanks for spending time on this.

I will have to try this tomorrow when I can get access to a mac.

If I understand you right what I have to do is this.

create my mac projector using my pc. Ignore the error messages saying that
the xtra can't be found. Take the mac projector on to a mac insert the
V4MD_carbon.Xtr file into a folder called "xtras" inside the ???.???.hqx
folder (which is the compressed folder containing the mac projector).

Do I have to then extract the whole ???.???.hqx folder on the mac in order
to then run the mac projector file?

also...

the

When creating my mac projector on my pc I get an error message saying it
can't find the V4MD.x32 file not the V4MD_carbon.Xtr file. Is this what you
meant?

Then I need to work out how to do it the other way around. ie. create a
windows projector using a mac. (In case you think I'm crazy, I need to do
this because my client only has a mac licence for director and needs to
produce a cross platform cd, and I only have a windows licence and also need
to create cross platform cds fro other projects. We will not be able to use
each others licences so we need to create both projectors on both platforms)

Thanks again.

Simon
