Nice guess!  It works fine now.  I took a few items out of the system
PATH variable, and voila!

In other words, sounds like the system variable PATH do not work.
Hmm.

Can you check please this variable ?
    ( it is In the properties of "My computer")
May be it have a lots of other paths ?

I have hear that Windows have some limit on length of string for this
variable...

* Do you have other WIN computer to test ?

* Do you run on English OS ?
