Importing an Access file

My first post here as I am new to Valentina, using it with Director. 

So I have an Access database with 11 tables in it. Am I right in thinking I
have to write code to generate a Valentina database file with all 11 tables
defined, along with their relationships and then use the ODBC_Valentina.exe
to import the Access file into my code created Valentina file? 

Is there a way of automating this?
