Good question.

In short:
    for 1-2 processor computers use 5-20 threads.

For 8 CPU computer you may wish set more threads.

This is internal threads of server.


Note, it is bad idea to have e.g. 500 threads on 1 CPU computer,
You will get only a lots of overhead and slow down.
