Embedded nervous breakdown

Before I move into the looney bin next door.

Can anyone please give me a concrete example of how to connect to a server.

Ever since I've gone "embedded" I can't get it to work.

what I have is
   ValentinaServer= new VServer(myHost, myUserName, deploymentcode, myPort)
