I'd agree with that, but very often I also want the option of sending 
the results to Excel for further analysis and display, or sending 
latitude and longitude to Adobe Illustrator for automatically drawing 
the cursor as a map. For me the flexibility of AS makes up for the 
added time taken to perform any particular task.
