      I would say that this example is not usual thing.
      Because of ONE main reason.
      It has a bad table design.

      Have a look at your table definition.
      We need to have some unique criteria for persons! - that's all

      Each person has something unique...
      Credit card number, passport, taxID and so on..

      We have to use this fact instead of using abstract recordID
