I just do not understand why.

Look, on internet exists open-source unicode library from IBM.
It have own tables to convert strings and so on.

But I do not want to use it.
Just count. 32000 chars per 2 byte then only one table will have size 64KB.
It seems the whole this lib take about 0.5MB

If you compare this to 1MB of Valentina code size this is too expensive to
add such feature...

This is why I think correct way it to depend on OS here.
Apple and Microsoft did MUST built all this tables into their OS.
