Just to add my $0.02.
-RB 4.5.3 does not use the same debugging method as RB 5.x, so testing 
it will not help us RB 5.1 users with the error 9 (in the IDE) problem.
-I too have problems downloading RB from my modem. I use the program 
"Download Wizard" to do all my downloading and I noticed that even 
though the RS servers are resumable, the archive is always corrupted if 
the download stops and is resumed. I can only get it to work with a 
single, uninterrupted download. I've never had this problem with any 
other resumable server. That does not explain your problems downloading 
from Keith's FTP server though.
-I use Stuffit Expander 7.0.3 with no problems.
