[V4Rb Client] VField problem

No, these are fields of base objects; i.e. 
VBaseObject.Field("some_name").  For a VField reference obtained this 
way, VField.BaseObject returns nil.

Also, VBaseObject.Field("RecID") returns nil for me.  I'm using 2.0a13.
