Hmm, for Valentina PPC it also works.

I have insert your line into Exmaple1 of SQL scripts.

on Create()
    tell application "Valentina Carbon"
        activate
        set thedbs to get name of databases as list


But I run it under classic...

Can you send me StdLog.
