Valentina DB locks under Mac

Hi All,
I am trying have N machines access a single Valentina
DB to perform select/insert functions. Within each
function, I use openDatabase and closeDatabase once
each operation is performed. 

I checked that for every open there is a close so that
the db does not get locked. I ran the program under
several machines to see how Valentina would perform
under a multi-user environment. Everything was great.
When running 2 machines under Windows, everything goes
as plan. However, when I run the program under a Mac
and a Window simultaneously, after several iterations
the Mac version locks the db. I then need to exit out
of Director to be able to gain access to the db on a
different machine.

I then tried to run the program on the Mac alone, w/o
running it simultaneously on another window machine).
I stopped the program and the db did not lock. Hence,
I was able to run the program on a Windows machine. I
concluded that I was closing the db correctly and
exiting the program correctly and setting all the
necessary objects to void.

It seems as though simultaneously running the program
on the Mac and Windows is causing the problem.

Any ideas?
