Yes. 

IF no crash, then index is fine.
Otherwise we'd have huge problems, because this means that there is logical
bug. 

I have write TIP here for Totte and all.

1) you can store self in prefs of your app, flag GOOD CLOSE.

2) if you have many db, you can write this flag directly into header of .vdb
file.
