Unicode?

Bit trigger happy on that last reply :)

The question was about unicode support in forthcoming releases - beta's.
Need to choose between storing my data in the various text encodings, or
using unicode and sacrificing DBMS flexibility.

Think I'd rather do the latter and wait "a few months" and add DBMS features
later, but would go to the effort of the former if was looking at over 12
months for unicode support,
