Can horizontal scrolling with the mouse or trackpad be added?

It should would be nice to have horizontal scrolling working. I think Valentina Studio is the only app I can remember using in recent memory where this doesn’t work. I find myself often wondering why I can’t scroll and then I realize I have to go drag the scrollbar in VS.

It sure would be great if that could be added. This is in the latest VS on Mac OS X.
