VStudio issues

Hi, before entering a bug report (I can't find any mention in Mantis
of my issues), I thought I'd check if there is something wrong with my
installation.

Every time I start VStudio I get an error message.  These are the
details from the error message:

10:38:09: Can't create registry key 'HKCR\.vdb' (error 5: access is denied.)
10:38:09: Can't open registry key 'HKCR\.vdb' (error 2: the system
cannot find the file specified.)
10:38:09: Can't set value of 'HKCR\.vdb' (error 2: the system cannot

I'm logged into Windows Vista with administrator privileges.  I even
re-installed VStudio, and chose "run as administrator" when starting
the installer but the error persists when VStudio is started.

Finally I decided to start VStudio using "run as administrator" and
the error dialog did not display.  But to get rid of this error
requires me to always start VStudio with "run as administrator".

Is this the standard way to run VStudio?  Or am I the only one facing
this situation?

Secondly, throughout VStudio whenever I click on a 'help' button
nothing happens.  If I choose the following menu Help\Contents, then I
get an error message telling me that the file vstudio.htb can't be
found.
