why does put revOpenDatabases() not work?

OK

I found out that "     put VDatabase_Destructor( mDatabase ) "  without the
"into mDatabase" part which I got from the example stack works and closes
the database but the problem now is that the database won't open again
properly (it says it's open when asked with

    put VDatabase_IsOpen( mDatabase) into field IsOpenField


but the other operations don't work unless I close and reopen RunRev.
