VS 2.2 text fields

Hi

To work around my problem with the convert issue, I tried to dump the DB to
XML, then reload it into a new V2 DB.
But, all the content of the text fields was stored in the XML as ASCII:

<f n="chapter_authors">44 2E 41 2E 20 42 75 72 6E 73 20 20 26 20 20 4E 2E 48
2E 20 43 6F 78</f>

So when I try to import this into the new V2 DB, it stays as:

	'44 2E 41 2E 20 42 75 72 6E 73 20 20 26 20 20 4E 2E 48 2E 20 43 6F
78'

Instead of

	'D.A. Burns & N.H. Cox'

Is this a related problem?

Martin

Hi Martin,

hhmm - so convert from V1 to V2 also do not show the content?
Can you please send me the V1 db for testing?
