No - this is not possible. Problem here:
1) ICU - it is build by makefiles as you know and it seems nearly
impossible to configure it for different SDK's. The only way is to compile
it directly on the target platform as we do with the Intel-build!
So - we have to build TWO variants now: PPC + x86
For Panther we would have to make another third build..:-(
We will soon have a Univeral binary which makes it even more complex to add
further builds.

2) wx
wx uses features only available on Tiger now. For example locale support
was very buggy in Panther so wx has disabled it for Panther. If we build
a special Panther wx - which is possible of course - then we must take
that into account in vStudio source - for example when displaying local
settings in the Property Inspector - which uses now a local iterator from
wx...

Sorry Kurt - but it seems that we need Tiger now!
Sooner or later i will add more Tiger only features to the Mac build - so
- it does not make many sense to keep a Panther build anyway.
