I'm not having much luck finding simple ways to get data from a v1 db into a v2 database... :c( -michael From sunshine at public.kherson.ua Sun Apr 3 10:02:08 2005 From: sunshine at public.kherson.ua (Ruslan Zasukhin) Date: Sun Apr 3 01:02:18 2005 Subject: import doesn't work (mac) In-Reply-To: <95e7e73f86c6a41120dae9c72f60fd5f@gearyweb.com> Message-ID: On 4/3/05 5:27 AM, "michael geary" wrote: > Can anyone else confirm that the latest version of vStudio can't do an > ASCII import? Igor should check why it not works -- Best regards, Ruslan Zasukhin VP Engineering and New Technology Paradigma Software, Inc Valentina - Joining Worlds of Information http://www.paradigmasoft.com [I feel the need: the need for speed] From j.peters at valentina-db.de Sun Apr 3 09:36:17 2005 From: j.peters at valentina-db.de (Jochen Peters) Date: Sun Apr 3 01:35:33 2005 Subject: import doesn't work (mac) In-Reply-To: <95e7e73f86c6a41120dae9c72f60fd5f@gearyweb.com> References: <95e7e73f86c6a41120dae9c72f60fd5f@gearyweb.com> Message-ID: <7835caf5a70e06049e0b68dcadc4239c@valentina-db.de> Hi Michael, can you please send me the text file so that i can check what's going on? > > Can anyone else confirm that the latest version of vStudio can't do an > ASCII import? For example, if I have an existing string field and want to change it to Varcar, or if I want to change a length to another value. If it is possible, how is it done? Changing field types for V2 databases does not work - it is already fixed and will be available with the next build. All other parameters should work - at least for V1 databases. -- Best regards, Jochen Peters PIIT GmbH ------------------------------------ http://www.valentina-db.de From rosyna at unsanity.com Mon Apr 11 09:05:55 2005 From: rosyna at unsanity.com (Rosyna) Date: Mon Apr 11 11:49:48 2005 Subject: VCSDK documentation missing Message-ID: Where can I acquire the v1.1x C API documentation?
