Not totally different. The GUI portion will be different. But hey, it
shouldn't be that big. You know the Model-View-Controller? Only the View and
Controller will be different.

So, you want to spend more time just to use a cross-platform GUI framework?
Cross-platform frameworks work only if they are not GUI related, like
Valentina engine.

Commercial application? I do not believe so. Sure, you will find open
source, shareware, in-house and Linux applications. Try to find Macintosh or
Windows commercial quality application.

However, wxWindows may be good for your Linux version.
