I believe you can

A) just select connection to server in left side bar
  and on the right side in the inspector see version of vserver

B) such commands exists of couse in SQL, because vstudio get all info via
SQL.  I think this is
  SHOW PROEPRTIES OF VSERVER    or  OF CONNECTION
