Preliminary Conclusions b26 for Windows and COM

 

 

VStudio

 

+ Great plus: no more incomplete and wrong German translation!

 

+ Much better user experience

 

+ Old ADK serial still works!

 

- VDB files wouldn't be registered by installer as VStudio-Files (cannot

double click on VDB, no icon.)

 

- OK button of registering dialog was disabled by default (not tested if
fixed in b26)

 

 

SQL

 

+ Very slow CLONE was fixed (irritating anomaly: the last step - indexing -
starts, reaches about 75% then goes back to 30% and finally finishes %
measured from file size of IND file)

 

API

 

+ After UnregisterServer() DB files would be closed and can be removed or
overwritten

 

 

VServer

 

- No free 5 user license file in installation
