losing data

Should I try re-install with more recent betas?  I have several times had my
livecode program freeze and when I re-boot I find in logs:

Tue Dec 21 2010 21:04:50.276647 (TID 2688906560): ERROR: Address already in
use
Tue Dec 21 2010 21:04:50.276744 (TID 2688906560): Shutting down server...
Tue Dec 21 2010 21:04:50.276866 (TID 2688906560): Server terminated

and in the other log just an ending with no proper shut-down or anything.

Any data that was entered since the last time valentina was properly
shut-down is all lost.

Suggestions?
