When we have change that names of SHOW commands,
    remember you have asked us do this?

we have break compatibility between old 3.x server and first betas of 4.x.


So Starting from b13 or b14 -- vstudio cannot work with older servers.


We have decide that it is okay for 4.0 -- major version - to break
compatibility.


--- Problem is that such change in field names is not change in protocol,
when we was able provide backward compatibility... Bad luck ..
