minor annoyance when installing new betas

I was wondering. Why is the default time for the server set to 20 minutes?
Every time I download a new beta I have to go in and set that to zero. Why
would anyone want their server to timeout? Or better I should ask: Why isn't
the default set to be no time out and those who want a timeout can set it?
PS - I am noticing less and less bugs with each new beta. Pretty nice...
