Hi Ruslan,

I wonder when 2.4 will be final? And since you are changing VarChar 
fields (and text indexing?), will the next versions of 2.4 require 
another irreversible format change, from 2.4b16 format to 2.4b17 
format? Finally, I seemed to recall UTF-8 storage was going to make 
the cut for 2.4. Am I wrong, was it 2.5?
