Not necessarily -- perhaps there should be a corresponding ODBCDatabase 
class that overrides SQLSelect.  I don't know enough about ODBC to 
really understand the problems.  Probably the simplest solution would 
be to force ODBC users to accept your view of how cursors should work 
:)
