Still too many bugs/instability

Hi Fred,

Removing the VarChar fields may or may not help, but of course that's 
not the solution, as I'm sure you will agree. The solution is to fix 
the bugs.

I'm just getting so frustrated with having to tell my users on a 
daily basis to rebuild/repair their databases...
