<P>I consider myself someone who is on top of things and I'm pretty sure this is the first I've heard of swim practice during winter break.</P>

<P>Unfortunately though that doesn't change the fact that my work schedule doesn't mirror the winter break. Seems to me that if only 17 of 52 showed or were able to show might indicate that practice wasn't advertised (enough) and/or parent(s) have to work. </P>

<P>Why not keep the afternoon practice schedule during the break? I would have little issue with getting my son there in the afternoon.</P>

<P>I agree that practice makes perfect but scheduling for the morning on a workday probably isn't the answer.</P>
