[SJHS-Swim] Volunteers for District Swim Meet this Friday, February 3, 2012

Good Afternoon!

I have heard back from several of you. Thank you! No one has yet volunteered to help with awards or to be a marshal. A marshal makes sure that only swimmers, coaches. timers and officials are on deck. We need two people to be a marshal. In addition to the one person to help with awards that Broad Run, the host team,  is requesting we need two more people to help our team with awards as we are in charge of awards. I do not know which shifts they need us for anything as they have not told me yet. I will pass on requests for shifts that I have received but regardless you need to check in at the scoring/verifying table after warm-ups have started to get your assignment.  Although they only asked for four timers and two relief timers I feel fairly certain that they are going to need timers from our team throughout the meet. Therefore, although I have listed the first four that responded as timers and the others as relief timers I feel that you all will be needed as timers. I will share with the host team that you are all willing to time a shift and if you want to time more than a shift you could let them know when you check in.
